Cape Town Technology Transfer Week
Leading Technology Transfer Professionals from across the globe will assemble in Cape Town as part of the AUTM-WIPO International Leadership Summit. This is an excellent opportunity for SADC professionals to engage with the international visitors, to draw on their knowledge and to showcase the local university innovation ecosystem and SARIMA has organised a three-day follow-on event along with ATTP, WIPO and AUTM.

Two-Day Conference + study tour
The event will run from 08h30 Wednesday 23 October to 16h30 Thursday 24 October followed by a study tour on the 25h of October.

Fee: R1000 incl. VAT (first 60 tickets, then R1240 incl. VAT) – includes tea/coffee and lunch on both days.
Friday 25 October
Three simultaneous tours will be run from the Graduate School of Business Conference Centre to engage with different TTOs in the Western Cape as well as some of their associated incubators / spin-off companies.

- Discussion on Launch Lab (incubator) and possibly meet with a spin-out company or two
- Lunch (to be determined at Stoke at LL or Botanical Garden)
- Walk/ drive: Oenology and Viticulture Dept. Wine tasting, tour of Dept and short discussion on innovation in the wine industry
