Communities of Practice (COPs) were established with the support of the Southern African Research & Innovation Management Association (SARIMA) and thus operate under the auspices of SARIMA within the Research Management portfolio. The goal  is to cultivate  a platform and forum  through which Research Management Professionals (RMPs) can network and engage with peers, share documents, templates and processes, promote  best practices and create new knowledge;  space to  debate and discuss, to rejuvenate focus, share ideas and further common professional purpose.

The focus of the COPs is Research Ethics and Integrity (research compliance). These COPs are geographically and regionally located in South Africa  inclusive of members from SADC countries and we encourage more SADC members to join and contribute to these exciting initiatives.
