SARIMA has a Community of Practice that brings together technology transfer practitioners who are supporting innovation in Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts for People and the Economy (SHAPE).
British Council Project
The British Council funded a project in 2023/2024 that was led by the University of Cape Town (UCT) via its Research Contracts & Innovation (RC&I) technology transfer office (TTO) in collaboration with the University of the Western Cape’s TTO and Oxentia to tailor a guide that came out of one of their previous projects so that it resonated with the South African context. It sought to bolster the guide with an increased repertoire of local case studies and to curate supplemental toolkits and resources. These materials empower TTOs to facilitate and nurture SHAPE innovation within their research communities.
These resources are released under a Creative Commons Attribution license and they may be adapted and customised for use by TTOs in their own environments and materials printed and distributed. The resources are listed below with a brief description and link to the file that can be downloaded.
