You may not have had the opportunity to attend the recent SARIMA Conference held virtually in the last week of October 2021. At the Africa Engagement Portfolio Networking Session at the SARIMA Conference, I asked for feedback on the 6 areas listed below.
I believe that your feedback on these 6 areas would go a long way towards helping SARIMA serve you better wherever you are in the SADC region and R&I Management community. SARIMA and the Africa Engagement Portfolio would still love to hear your feedback on the 6 points below.

- Awareness of SARIMA’s R&I Management activities & resources within your R&I Management community? g., capacity building/training, webinars, conferences, professionalization, and resources for members?
- SARIMA’s visibility, influence and support for R&I Management in your country/organization? How may we improve this?
- Development and delivery of more relevant R&I Management support? How can we better align this with your institutional/country-specific R&I Management needs?
- SARIMA communications channels with the R&I Management community in your country? What’s the best way to engage with you re: e.g., training, sponsorship opportunities, events, membership, newsletters?
- Key R&I Management contact points for SARIMA to engage within your country? Who should SARIMA be engaging with to help support your R&I Management activities and communities?
- Recognition of R&I Management development efforts through SARIMA-DSI “Excellence Awards”? We welcome suggestions on how to make the awards relevant and achievable for the whole SADC R&IM community.
